Afternoon Dhamma Offering: Questions and Reflections

Andrea Fella
By: Andrea Fella

Submitted Questions:
• If the citta is located in the physical heart as opposed to the brain, what follows from this? Do we try to bring attention to the heart area for example?
• Is there a difference between view and belief?
o What about right view? Isn’t that delusion too?
• What is the job description of delusion? I wonder if it is to make us feel like we belong.
• When we are looking at attitude, are we always looking through a lens of delusion? Even if we don’t see greed or aversion?
• In AM instructions, when you said the Buddha made a different karma, by saying we can create another karma from deterministic model, does that not create a sense of self? A bit confused…
• If self can’t see non-self by trying, how is non-self recognized?
• Can you say more about the aggregate of consciousness?
