Ajahn Amaro
Biography
Ajahn Amaro received his B.Sc. in Psychology and Physiology from the University of London. He trained in Thailand with Ajahn Chah and Ajahn Sumedho. A senior monk from Amaravati Buddhist Monastery in England, he is abbot of Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery, a new branch monastery of the forest meditation tradition, in Mendocino, where he resides with a small monastic community.
